Since The Apprentice I have been very busy being involved primarily with young people through teaching and in my local community.
I have worked for charities close to my heart; Princes Trust and Cancer Research. I am running the Great North Run this year with Lee McQueen (Apprentice winner 2008), Jake Wood (Bradley in Eastenders) and Nell McAndrew in support of Cancer Research.
Working full time and expanding my own successful property portfolio I still manage to find the time to do key public speaking engagements and charity functions.
I regularly feature on BBC Radio Manchester as a business advisor.

- Assistant Head of Science (2007) – Progress & Monitoring at KS4. Initiated & Implemented the whole department to write Ofsted style lesson plans for all KS4 schemes of work
- Enterprise Co-ordinator (2006) – Managed a £20,000 budget to embed & deliver Enterprise across KS4 subjects

- Aimhigher Co-ordinator (2004) – Managed a £15,000 budget to from links with HE & FE institutions. A cohort of pupils are identified in Years 9-11 & I put them through a regime of empowerment and mentoring programme to encourage them to go on to further education

- Duty & Pharmacy Manager (2001)
- Customer Services and Warehouse Manager (1999-2001) – Became a Flagship Store for the best warehouse in the district covering 23 stores
- Responsible for 120 colleagues
- Increased store participation of 5% in 6 months with a turnover of £72,000 by driving sales in the non-perishable food areas and the kiosk
Activities and Interests
I like to swim, scuba dive, play tennis and golf and the theatre. I am a property developer. My latest acquisition is two acres of land with young mango and jackfruit trees in Bangladesh.
